Overview
NetSpeed Canada is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) comparison platform helping Canadians find the best home internet and cell phone plans by region. The client needed a completely custom-built WordPress platform with dynamic search features, provincial and city-based listings, and robust SEO to outperform competitors like WhistleOut and MovingWaldo.
I developed the entire site using WordPress + Elementor with custom-coded modules for search, filtering, and comparison functionality. The result was a scalable, data-driven platform that offers high usability, clean design, and multi-device performance.
Goals & Challenges
- Create a sleek, modern, and SEO-optimized ISP comparison website.
- Build dynamic modules for cities, provinces, and ISPs using custom fields and templates.
- Add cell phone plan module with advanced filters (minutes, data, prepaid/postpaid, etc.).
- Design comparison templates for top carrier vs. carrier searches (e.g., Bell vs Rogers).
- Improve page load speed and optimize for conversions.
- Establish affiliate integration with Canadian ISPs for monetization.
- Expand the platform to handle U.S. listings through a separate site.

Based on its success, I helped the client expand into the U.S. market with a sister site — FiberAtMyAddress.com, using a similar technical foundation.
